The Beckstoffer 2004 Pinot Noir is as dark and rich as ever. The exotic, spicy nose incorporates raspberry, blackberry, orange zest, maple syrup and baking spices. The palate has great weight and a luscious mid-palate that carries dark fruit and Asian spice. The long finish only improved with aging. Enjoyable with lamb, pasta with wild mushrooms and savory stews. Can easily age for two more years, drinking beautifully right now as well.
