2007 Horseshoe Bend Vineyard Pinot Noir
93 Points (Wine Spectator, August 2009)
Bright, rich and fleshy, with a supple mix of wild berry, raspberry and floral scents. Tight but not tannic,
focused and concentrated, picking up a pleasant earthy, chicory edge. Drink now through 2013.

92 Points (Wine Enthusiast, December 2009)
Made in an accessable way, this Pinot Noir drinks well now. It’s polished and silky, offering waves
of cherries, raspberries, red currants, cola, rhubarb pie, cocoa, sandalwood and spices.
Has the structure to evolve for a good six years.

90 Points (Wine News, Fall 2009)
Dark black cherry hue.  Sweet bouquet of jammy berry, mint and light oak.  Well-integrated, layered flavors of jammy cherry, pepper and tar, evocative of a spicy Zin.  Tart, drying close with continued sweet berry and cedar box notes.

2006 St Clair Vineyard Pinot Noir
93 Points (Wine News, August/September 2008)
Attractive, feathered fuchsia hue. Smoky cured ham aromas laced with mineral and cherry accents.
Very fine sandpaper tannins with youthful, tart cherry fruit. Peppery, flinty close needs time to soften.

90 Points (Burghound.com, 4th Quarter 2008)
This is cooler and more aromatically reserved with a typical Carneros fruit nose that features a touch of vegetal
without overwhelming the pretty and notably earthy crushed red berry fruit aromas that precede delicious, round,
supple and transparent flavors that possess lovely depth and mouth fell, all wrapped in a dusty, tangy and long finish.
Well worth a look if minerally and linear is your cup of pinot.

2007 Sangiacomo Vineyard Chardonnay
92 Points (Wine Spectator, June 2009)
Deep and complex, with flavors that build on one another. The mix of ripe pear, melon, hazelnut and spicy toasty oak turns elegant and stylish on the finish, where a honey note appears. Drink now through 2012.

92 Points (Connoisseur's Guide, May 2009)
Incisively fruity and long on ripe apples with a well-tailored trim of toasty oak in fine counterpoint, Acacia's Sangiacomo bottlingis a deep and yet refined working that shows plenty of richness and substance while remaining exceptionally well-balanced.It is at once both firm and fairly full-bodied, and its combination of keen structure and impressive depth marks itas a Chardonnay destined for better with cellaring, but only if its considerable near- term appeals can be resisted.

91 Points (Wine Enthusiast, December 2009)
A very nice Chardonnay that satisfies for its richness and delicate structure. Silky and crisp, it shows flavors of pineapples, Mandarin oranges, vanilla custard, honeysuckle and stony minerals.

2007 Winery Lake Vineyard Pinot Noir
92 Points (Wine Enthusiast, December 2009)
A lush Pinot Noir that needs some time to come around. It's packed with flavors of black cherries,
raspberries, plums, red currants, cola, licorice and sandalwood, in a silky texture marked fine tannins.
Give it a year or so, and should improve through 2013.

91 Points (Wine News, Fall 2009)
Light garnet hue.  Slight barnyard nose with tobacco, wet leather and violet accents.
Flavor profile escalates on the palate with tar, sticky black fruit and well-integrated cedar tannins.
Tart, tangy lingering close of tobacco, mocha and espresso.

92 Points (Wine News, August/September 2008)
Garnet hue with a fuchsia rim. Sweet toasted oak aromas with a whiff of clove. Tangy deli meat, red fruit
and new oak flavors. Youthful, tart finish with drying tannins and a lingering flintiness.

91 Points (Burghound.com, 4th Quarter 2008)
A cool, reserved, pure and elegant nose of primary red berry fruit with a very subtle hint of vegetal aromas merges
into detailed, elegant, precise and relatively linear flavors that offer good depth and intensity on the persistent
and solidly complex finish. This is fashioned in a classic style and while there is a hint of backend warmth,
it's relatively minor and this is really quite lovely. Worth a look.

2007 Carneros Pinot Noir
91 Points (Wine News, Fall 2009)
Attractive, dark brick red hue.  Pretty bouquet of raspberry and strawberry with a sweet maple fragrance.  Well-balanced palate of tart cherry juice, mahogany and spice-laden, oaky tannins.
Integrated acids and fine-combed tannins drive the jammy, fruity finish.

2006 Beckstoffer Vineyard Pinot Noir
90 Points (Wine News, Fall 2009)
Pretty, shimmering crimson hue.  Enticing bouquet of wet stone, floral and light orange peel scents.
Cedar sawdust andpine notes on entry with a distinct forest floor appeal.
Finishes with tart, dried berry flavors and well-balanced cedar-tinged acids.

Recommended (Colorado Wine News, April-June 2009)
Spent nine months in 75% new French oak. It is still closed but has nice black cherry, dried strawberry, and smoke aromas. Bright flavors of cherry, smoke, cocoa powder, dried cherry, and cranberry finish long and medium-broad.
Well balanced, structured, and integrated, it needs a couple of years to develop and open.

2006 Desoto Vineyard Pinot Noir
90 Points (Burghound.com, 4th Quarter 2008)
A more deeply pitched as well as more complex nose of briar, underbrush, red and blue berry fruit and a touch
of earth introduces round, pure and balanced flavors and possess good mid-palate sap that does a good job
of buffering the firm finishing tannins. This is lovely and fashioned in a classic CA pinot style.

2007 Carneros Chardonnay
89 Points (Wine Enthusiast, October 2009)
There's a Chablis-like elegance to this Chardonnay in the dryness and minerality, which stimulates the palate
with a chalky, steely tartness. That’s not to minimize the pineapple and pear fruit, much less the buttered toast
and vanilla cream from oak. Very nice.
