Vintage 2013
Wine Type Red
Varietal Pinot Noir
Region Sonoma Mountain
Winemaker Matthew Glynn

Tasting Notes

Deep cherry, wild berry, sun-warmed rose, mineral, forest floor and tobacco leaf notes fill the aromas and smooth, supple flavors. Fine tannins and bright acidity structure the wine through the enduring finish. Toasty spices from new French oak barrels complete the sensory experience.

Vineyard Notes

We sourced this wine from Roberts Road Vineyard, At the base of the Sonoma Mountains, which yields some of the finest Pinot Noir grown by the Sangiacomo Family. We selected specific vines grafter to Dijon Clone 777 to give this wine its richly textured dark-berry and terroir expression. Wild-yeast fermentation and aging in French Oak added even more complexity.
