We harvested this Pinot Noir from a unique site on the eastern slope of the mountains along the Sonoma Coast. Thornton Vineyard’s excellent exposure and carefully selected clones foster wine with exceptional fragrance and palate richness. Wild-yeast fermentation and aging in 100-percent French oak barrels for more than seven months enhance the earthy terroir complexity of this Pinot Noir’s seductive berry and violet character.
"Juicy, this has an exotic twist of burnt cherry and orange to it, accented in Asian spice. Soft, with moderate acidity, it retains an earthy underlay of roses that add to the full-bodied length and density.”
